Blue Sea Systems Names Marine Aftermarket Sales Manager for the Southeast

Blue Sea Systems announced that Kevin Lacy, long-term Blue Sea Systems’ product design engineer, will assume the role of Marine Aftermarket Sales Manager in the South East. Lacy will have the responsibility for Blue Sea Systems’ distribution customers. He also will offer engineering support where needed. OEM Sales Manager, Lou Walton, will continue to support the OEM builders in the area.

“We want to support our continued growth in the East by being more accessible to our customers.” says Dave Johnson, Senior Vice President for Sales and Marketing. “By moving one of our most seasoned engineers to the East Coast, we can offer the kind of support locally that those customers deserve to have,” he added.

Lacy has been a long-term member of Blue Sea Systems engineering department. He was one of the first employees of Blue Sea Systems, and designed many of the products that the Company sells today. “While my primary role has long been product design and development, I have loved working directly with our customers in technical support and at conferences”, says Lacy. “Our product is technical and our customers deserve to get answers immediately to any question they ask. My experience in product design and manufacturing will allow me to support our customers with unique in-depth product and application knowledge.” He added.

Prior to joining Blue Sea Systems, Lacy worked ten years at Comptec International, a plastic manufacturer for the telecom industry with facilities in United States and Canada.  He held positions of product design engineer, customer service representative and application engineer.
