Toggle Guard
Blue Sea Systems’ Toggle Guards (Product Number 4100) are a low cost solution to preventing the accidental switching of industry standard toggle-type circuit breakers. Toggle Guards mount using the standard circuit breaker mounting holes and can be easily added to any distribution panel using toggle-type magnetic circuit breakers. When a four-year-old child toddled up to the electrical panel on one of the Company test boats and shut down the main electronics circuit breaker we knew the world needed a new product. A flip-up cover guards the circuit breaker toggle and some installers have discovered that a drop of super glue on the cover detents permanently closes the Toggle Guard and requires the operator to use a small screwdriver to operate the circuit breaker. This is especially useful on circuits like heaters and bilge pumps where the only function desired is to reset a tripped circuit breaker. Click here for more information.
