Overview
- Formulates, directs and coordinates the print, digital and trade show activities to promote products for multiple electrical brands in the Americas
- Identifies, develops, and evaluates marketing strategy based on knowledge of company objectives, market characteristics and channel needs
- Develops and coordinates initiatives and programs that drive sales and improve the customer experience
- Initiates market research studies, analyzes results and presents findings
- Uses strategic planning to ensure sales and profit goals are met, while analyzing business developments and monitoring and reporting on market trends
- Provides strategic direction for company and product branding
General Duties:
- Provides strategic direction for:
- Print projects including catalogs, sale sheets, packaging, product labels and other print collateral
- Digital content, support and reporting for websites, apps, social media and videos
- Trade shows, press events, sales meetings and training
- Manages the day to day activities of the marketing team and projects
- Track and reports results of marketing initiatives
Experience Required:
- 8+ years as Marketing Manager for a company in the marine, outdoor or specialty vehicle market
- Successfully managed the national launch of technical consumer products
- Managed logistics and marketing for trade and consumer shows
Skills Required:
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical ability
- Organizational and project management proficiency
- Strong understanding of the sales process for the marine and outdoor retail channel Highly proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and CRM software
Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Demonstrated personal interest in either boating or specialty vehicles
Salary Range- Open- Initially dependent on experience, thereafter on performance
