General Duties:
Responsible for the development and coordination of environmental compliance programs for RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, and similar regulatory standards. Develops and reviews documentation to support compliance with applicable regulations (i.e. Prop 65, REACH, ROHs, WEEE, ABYC, CFR, etc.). Audits related documents and researches problems/discrepancies to resolution. Manages material certifications, calibration, and quality records to support ISO 9001:2008. Prepares documentation as needed to support compliance.
Qualifications:
- Acts in an ethical manner, leading by example and earning the respect and trust of co-workers, customers, and suppliers
- Fluency in fundamental PC based software tools — Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and general PC fluency
- Excellent written and oral communication skills MANDATORY
- Positive attitude and team orientation
- Good Technical skill in analyzing and validating part compliance.
- Understand Bill of materials, manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with standard units of measure and accuracy specifications for measurement devices.
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2008
- Experience in collecting or validating RoHS/REACH data collection.
- Experienced with the use of ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
- Expert in Industrial regulations like RoHS, Prop 65, REACH,WEEE, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in technical or science field
