Independent Sourced Circuit ST Blade Fuse Block

November, 11 2011

The Independent Sourced Circuit ST Blade Fuse Block from Blue Sea Systems consolidates up to six independently-sourced branch circuits in one compact fuse block.

ST Blade

The Independent Sourced Circuit ST Blade Fuse Block fills a need for compact circuit protection for multiple independent circuits. Used instead of six in-line fuse holders, this fuse block makes wiring connections neater and safer.

Like the Common Sourced Circuit ST Blade Fuse Blocks, the Independent Sourced Circuit ST Blade Fuse Block features tin-plated copper buses and fuse clips for maximum conductivity and corrosion resistance. This fuse block accepts ring terminals for secure connections.

A common application of the Independent Sourced Circuit ST Blade Fuse Block is to combine switched and 24-hour circuits on the same block. Switched circuits are after the battery switch, and may include dash, GPS, and radio. 24-hour circuits may be bilge pump, alarm, and fume detector, or any other circuits the boater desires to remain on when the battery switch is turned off. These circuits are wired directly to the battery.

The Independent Sourced Circuit ST Blade Fuse Block can be modified to combine circuits together.
PN 9217 Terminal Block Jumpers can be used on the source side of the fuse block. This allows one wire coming in to the fuse block to supply two or more loads, while maintaining separate fuse protection for each circuit.
